LYON, great city!

WELCOME TO LYON!!!

Lyon is great! In fact, it is the third larger city of France! That is why, like Paris, there is a lot of public transports (as you can see on the plan).

Lyon is a friendly and young city. I have been there and it was a very nice trip.

If you want to go to Lyon, I advise you to visit:Le Part-Dieu , situated in the third urban district.

There are many buildings because, the business market is very important in this area.

We can also see the nice "colline de la Fourviére" which shelt the burg called as the same, with a rustic surroundings. The panorama is so beautiful and the atmosphere so welcoming.

It is funny to see the burg in a big city... You must go to La tour metallique in Fourviére which looks like the Eiffel Tower in Paris. This tower is very high (86 metres), it is imposing !!

We can go up at the top with an hydrolic ascencor which can contain 22 people. At the top there is an observatory. But since the 50's the tower is used as telephonic relay.

There is also an antical theater on this hill Which can welcome 10 000 Gauls, you must go there, it is a wonderful place !! It was done up in the 30's and he can now welcome many spectators for the festival of the music : "Les Nuits de Fourvière".

We can also amire the famous Traboule which are underpasses but there are only forty which can welcome people. They have been done at the 14th century. In there is the water of the river called la Saône.

The greatest thing I have seen was the Opera of Lyon in the place of Comedie which is made about thousand colours for the Light Celebrates.

Lyon is a friendly and nice city. Go there I must advise it to you !
